Maintenance Technician

Purpose:

Maintain facility buildings, track, and roads to ensure safety and longevity of company assets.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Team members will function and work as a group to maintain and repair facility.
  • Drive trucks and other heavy equipment to various worksites on the property.
  • Inspect, clean, or repair drainage systems, roadways, and building structures.
  • Haul and spread material on property.
  • Erect, install, or repair guardrails and track barriers/walls.
  • Perform preventative maintenance work on vehicles/equipment.
  • Drive heavy equipment and vehicles with adjustable attachments to sweep debris from paved surfaces, mow grass, remove snow and ice, and spread salt sand.
  • Assist with mowing, weed control, bush trimming, brush cleanup.
  • Assist with litter and trash patrol and disposal from paddocks, classrooms, common areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Working experience and knowledge of at least one of the following: welding, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and equipment maintenance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to use hand or power tools.
  • Ability to walk .
  • Ability push, pull, lift up to 75lbs.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Work Setting:

  • Outdoor working environment with the typical outdoor temperature fluctuations, sometimes extreme and exposed to all types of weather conditions.
  • Working environment can be described as loud at times.
