Job Description

This position will be responsible for performing secondary tasks related to machining operations. This includes but isn’t limited to the following: material handling, ordering materials, processing scrap materials, supplying cutting and lubricating oils to the machines, maintaining MRO supplier, maintaining general cleanliness of the department, light assembly, component washing, packaging, interaction with vendors and shipping of components.

Essential Functions:

  • Handling raw material
  • Lift Truck Operation (Certification Required)
  • Component Washing & Packaging
  • Light Assembly & Secondary Operations
  • Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
  • Processing machined chips & disposal
  • Maintaining MRO Supplies
  • Maintain a clean and safe shop/work area
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Qualified candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • The candidate must be willing to work in a high energy fast paced environment, be detail oriented, possess strong communication and organizational skills
  • The candidate must be a team player, a self-starter with a positive attitude, high motivation and display strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to stand for the entire shift and have the ability to lift 50 lbs. continuously
