Honda Performance Development, Inc., a leader in motorsports racing, is seeking a highly organized and detailed oriented Machinist to join its Racing Program in Santa Clarita, California (North Los Angeles County).
Machinist Contingent
Responsibilities includes tooling setup, manual machining ( Mills, Lathes), CNC operations using MasterCam Basics, install tool and data, transferring program.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
- Available to work a minimum of 24 hours a week. Will work around school schedule.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Exhibited leadership, problem solving, collaboration and self-directed skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- PC skills for planning, reporting and activity tracking, use of Microsoft Office – Word & Excel
- CAD/drawing experience
- Equipment calibration exposure
- Manufacturing machine exposure
- Ability to read blue prints
