Logistics Operative - Motorsport & Events

Our Events operations team are now looking for a highly talented and motivated Logistics Operative to join their expanding Motorsport & Events team and help ensure our cars are prepared and maintained to the highest standard.

Purpose of the role:

Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for ensuring accurate stock and spare parts accuracy to enable us to deliver cars to the events in the best condition. You will also be responsible for the inventory control during events, supplying parts to running cars.

Principal accountabilities:

  • Continuously being aware of and pro-actively addressing potential or actual shortages in stock or spares
  • Booking parts out real time to allow for accurate records for invoicing, and restocking
  • Close liaison with other disciplines within the department
  • Ensuring stock accuracy is at the specified levels as agreed
  • Ensure health and safety standards are achieved on an ongoing basis and actively promote individual responsibility for health and safety
  • Review and improve the operating environment through establishing and maintaining housekeeping standards
  • You will be required to be hands on at events, helping out within other areas as and when required

Knowledge, skills & experience:

  • SAP experience preferred or working knowledge with a similar MRP/ERP business systems
  • Previous experience within a logistics set up (ideally motorsport or high pressured environment)
  • Numerate & literate with good communication skills
  • IT literate and have good organization skills
  • Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines
