Lead, People Partner - IndyCar

Job description

Arrow McLaren SP IndyCar are looking for a seasoned HR professional to join their team. Following a successful race season, we are looking for someone who can deliver a brand new people agenda which will contribute to both on and off-track results and winning titles!

Based out of Indianapolis, this is an exciting standalone, hands-on role with an opportunity to really help shape the local People & Culture strategy as well as support the team and managers as they experience exciting growth. With the recent investment from McLaren Racing, this role will work closely with the UK People team, reporting into the People Director while also having a dotted line into the AMSP President in the US.

Job requirements

The successful individual will need to have excellent stakeholder management skills, be a natural when it comes to employee relations and have solid experience in exceptional operational HR practice. Being the first point of contact for the entire leadership team, and working in line with a seasonal race calendar, the role will require flexibility, experience across the full HR spectrum, ability to manage at all levels of an organisation and confidence in delivering at pace and, at times, with ambiguity.

With the recent progress and success, plus the addition of the heritage of the McLaren Racing brand, there really hasn’t been a more exciting time to join an IndyCar team.

If you have experience in the sports, media or engineering sectors, this would be advantageous (preferably motorsport).  If this sounds like you and want a role that will provide equal levels of challenge and reward, then this is the role for you!
