We are constantly striving to develop a high performance culture. This focus and passion to encourage innovation, and the uncompromising commitment to achieve extraordinary things has enabled us to create one of the most successful and prestigious race teams in world motorsport.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a 13-month placement in our Kitting Team, sitting within our Operational Logistics Department.

You'll be a key player in the project team progressing shop floor tasks as required (kitting or expediting). In this hands on role, you'll be involved in the kitting of parts to feed projects for key assemblies within in-house manufacture and subcontract manufacture, supporting finished parts stores, flagging of any shortages that may impact project delivery - all critical tasks for the delivery of our F1 cars!

Maybe you've completed an apprenticeship, or you are looking for an industrial internship as part of your university studies, either way, you have an appetite to learn and kickstart a career in the world of motorsport. Subject wise, it might be engineering or motorport related, project management or operations, but it's you we are interested in!

You'll need a high level of IT literacy, and being able to interpret data will be a significant advantage! You should also have a good understanding of F1 manufacturing techniques and be someone who uses their initiative to develop and improve systems and procedures, thereby enhancing processes within the team.

If this sounds like the perfect opportunity to get you started in your F1 career, apply now!

Applications close on 31st January 2020. If successful, you will be required to attend an Assessment Centre at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking in March 2020.
