Karting Customer Service Job Description
Department: Karting
Employment Type: Part-time Seasonal
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly
Working Hours: Varies, typical 8 to 10 hour shifts
Purpose:
To greet and assist customers with their Go-Karting experience.
Primary Job Duties:
- Greet and assist customers as they come into karting or call on the phone
- Operate the POS and timing systems to ring up and set up customers for their karting experience
- Maintain the daily schedule to keep customers on time
- Communicate with the Karting Flaggers throughout the day
- Relaying received information and instructions to affected personnel, including emergency vehicle crews, drivers, or other participants
- Keep up with the washing / drying of suits and jackets
- Maintain a clean facility
- Help with Gate Check during big events
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Some knowledge of motorsports, but not required as training is provided
- EMT Certification is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Work Setting:
- Indoor working environment with the typical indoor temperature fluctuations
- Occasionally working in an outdoor environment when needed
