Job Description
Red Bull Powertrains have an exciting opportunity to be a key part of our expanding Power Unit team. Our open, dynamic environment ensures that everyone can make a valuable contribution and we are looking for a Junior Lifing Coordinator to deliver World Championship winning Power Units year on year.
In this role you will be expected to assist with coordinating and controlling the lifing of all Powertrain components used at race and dyno events within Red Bull Powertrains. You will also have responsibility over ensuring the history and usage of components are recorded to ensure components are serviced and replaced in-line with Engineering limits.
Other accountabilities for this Junior Lifing Coordinator include:
- Produce event lifing and servicing reports, ensuring the power unit has the correct build structure and parts lifing suitable for intended use, controlling event strip lists and servicing requirements.
- Support the Revisions Controller in their role, aligned with event allocations to ensure the car/event is supported with components and assemblies at the correct engineering revision.
- To liaise with Design Office and instigate Lifing and Service requirement reviews with Designers.
- To support the Race/Support Teams, Manufacturing and Assembly groups with BoM integrity and lifing processes, thus maintaining data integrity and accuracy at all times ensuring our Inventory is accurate.
- To attend and participate in all relevant meetings aiming to provide info/data or feeding back to the group of the Team requirements/updates.
As this is a junior position within the team, we are looking for candidates who show a positive, can-do attitude and have a willingness to learn new skills. Having experience in a similar position will be advantageous towards your application.
