IT Support Technician

At M-Sport, we are dedicated to supporting motorsport manufacturing and customer programmes spread across a variety of National and International rally and race series on a vast range of stages and circuits in the most acclaimed motorsport championships. Based at the historic Dovenby Hall Estate on the doorstep to the Lake District, our dedicated Administration Team work closely together to support all aspects of our business. 

With a successful start to the 2022 season, M-Sport is looking to recruit an IT Support Technician for our ever-growing global motorsport engineering company and to join our busy IT Department.

 

Duties will include:

 

  • Provide support to end users over a range of hardware and software.

  • Install, maintain, upgrade, diagnose and repair user’s hardware, networks and auxiliary equipment.

  • Roll out software upgrades and new applications as required.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A good technical knowledge of PC/Laptop hardware and LANs / WANs.

  • Experience and be competent with Microsoft Office, Windows and Server Technology. 

  • An understanding of VMWare and Veeam software. 

  • A good analytical approach and problem solving abilities. 

  • Excellent communication skills.  

The role requires a consistently high level of performance and quality in a highly pressurised and time sensitive environment. The role would suit a confident, outgoing and self-motivated team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. A flexible approach to working hours is required.
