We are looking for a highly talented individual to join the IT department as a IT Race Support Technician. This vital position will involve travelling to Race Support/Marketing events to setup and support the IT infrastructure and its users.
IT Race Support Technician – The Role
This role provides an opportunity for a talented individual to jointly shape the IT services of our Running Show Car IT environment. Utilising a multitude of IT talents to support and deploy an infrastructure supporting a small traveling user base.
When not travelling it is expected the applicant to work and support our Race Support Control Centre, including server, end user support and application monitoring. This role requires quick learning, commitment and determination in a fast-paced environment, along with sound technical knowledge to be able to provide a high-quality service.
IT Race Support Technician – The Person
The successful candidate will be an individual who has a proven existing career grounded in troubleshooting data centre environments primarily in Microsoft server 2016/2019, VMWare and an excellent troubleshooting mentality of networking - CCNA advantageous. Have relevant experience in a similar technical position within motorsport or other pressurised environment is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal along with the ability to work under high pressure, alone, or as part of a team is essential
