IT Professional

Functions:

  • Serve as system administrator networked and stand-alone workstations, Linux and Windows operating systems, and networked file servers

  • Responsible for identification, installation and life-cycle maintenance of computing lab equipment and employee PCs and LAN connected equipment

  • Acts as the primary point of contact with corporate IT professionals for all local IT services

  • Responsible for local inventory, maintenance and software license management

  • Assist employees with questions and issues via the corporate help desk ticketing system

  • Responsible for monitoring local data backups

  • Administer anti-virus and essential operating system updates on shared systems as required by DSS and monitor updates for employee PCs

  • Provide system hardening functions in Windows and Linux to support RMF accreditation efforts

  • Perform local administration in accordance with standards, policies and procedures
