Our key to success is an organisation that values passion, integrity, and respect. To help deliver against this global vision we are seeking an IT Network Manager who will be a pivotal member of the IT Network team and support in the progress and delivery of technical solutions to the business.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The IT Network Manager will have technical, financial and management responsibilities including:
- To ensure the networks across the entire business are commissioned, maintained and developed to a level that will support current and future organisational needs
- Devise and establish IT policies and networks to support the implementation of strategies set by senior management.
- To provide a stable and technologically suitable platform for race operations so that the company can meet contractual obligations
- Liaise with connectivity partner to ensure that the inter-site WAN and Event WAN services are provided with appropriate support and availability
- Ensure that bespoke content delivery systems are appropriately designed, supported and maintained with high availability.
- Manage IT Network team, with responsibility for hiring, evaluation, training, informal disciplinary procedures
- Deputise for the Senior Manager, Networks and IT Operations as required & authorised
- Prepare and produce annual budgets, then manage and control expenditure within authorized limits
- To provide detailed costings for upgrades and projects being considered / undertaken and keeping within those projected costs once authorised

About You
The Network IT Manager will ideally have a proven track record of IT leadership experience within a broad IT function within a fast-paced and varied environment as well as:
- HNC, HND in an IT or Electronic related subject, or relevant training & experience
- Proven strategic leadership of a broad IT function
- Significant experience of successfully leading and managing a diverse team
- Team Management & Development experience including dispute resolution
- In-depth Current technological advances and their appropriate applicability to the organisation’s needs
- Positive approach to people management
- Forward-thinking; ability to predict future organisational needs
- Ability to cope under pressure, particularly in live race scenarios
- EU driving licence
- Ability to travel
