Inventory Specialist

OVERVIEW: Enter data for quantities of various items in warehouse. Transfer inventory between locations. Inventory and cycle count adjustments into computer database. Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and picklists count for monthly highlights. Manage supply chain of small run manufacturing projects. Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with supervisors and management. Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify appropriate personnel when material has expired. Purchase stock items. Work with current teams to plan part needs

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & SKILLS:

Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to all of the following:

  • Maintain Inventory Counts across multiple product lines
  • Monitor stock status and order as needed
  • Close and document all work orders
  • Work with Manufacturing to determine order quantities
  • Determine, research and correct material inventory discrepancies.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • US Citizen or Green Card required.

DESIRED SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Microsoft Office
  • Some ERP experience a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand most of the day while working 40 hour work week (Day shift) with overtime paid as worked

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

  • Day Shift 6:30 am work start time M-F
  • Must be flexible with schedule to accommodate fixed deadlines sometimes working Saturday and or Sunday

This position will require lawful access to ITAR/EAR controlled information and employees in this role will need to meet those requirements. Requirements include US Citizenship, US Permanent Resident or ability to meet licensure requirements.
