Inventory Lead

Shift: First
Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00a-4:00p

The Inventory Lead is responsible for receiving and counting items in warehouse inventory and records the data in WMS system. This position also handles packing/unpacking items and stocking them on warehouse shelves while keeping the stocked items organized and readily accessible. Investigates and resolves any inventory discrepancies, determines inventory control methods, and examines items in inventory for defects, wear, or damage. Provides efficient and courteous customer service, serves as a mentor for other employees, and also assists in directing their daily duties and making sure work is completed when their manager is busy or unavailable. This position works under the general direction and supervision of the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for reporting issues or concerns that may occur.

Where you’ll spend your time:

  • Performing cycle counts and inventory counts on product in stock
  • Tracks and investigates discrepancies in movement of product through the entire distribution process from receipt to ship
  • Works with the returns team of RMA related inventory buckets and assists with finding missing inventory
  • Works with Category Managers, Quality control team members, and Procurement teams on inventory related issues
  • Performs stock adjustments and inventory transfers
  • Maintains and regulates the mis-ship bin
  • Monitor inventory reports and issues on a daily basis
  • Supply monitoring and ordering
  • Assists warehouse manager with set up and drives year-end inventory for the facility
  • Resolves inventory discrepancies via working with vendors and other departments of the company
  • Maintains the ROG report
  • Other duties as assigned.

You have/possess:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of work related experience or combination of education and experience in a warehouse or distribution center (preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis and team lift or shift product onto equipment up to 120 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and push items on a regular basis
  • Strong work ethic
