Inventory Control Team Leader

The position:
We are currently seeking a Inventory Control Team Leader for a permanent day shift position. The position will report to the Inventory Control Manager and take responsibility for the day to day activities of the Inventory Control department. The successful candidate will drive innovation and change initiatives that improve the service delivery of the Stores function to the business whilst controlling the cost base.

Operational Duties will include -

Drive best practice stock control to maintain a high level of stock accuracy across all areas of Inventory Control
Manage reorder points for consumable stock to ensure customer needs are met at all times
Organise and report on cyclical stock counts to ensure stock is continually monitored and investigate any discrepancies
Ensure any obsolete parts are archived as required and utilize storage space in the most efficient manner
To manage all CRS and MRS requirements.
Responsible for the training and development matrix for all team members to ensure adequate cross training across the department.
To oversee all aspects of the department despatch, goods in and out to ensure.
Responsible for all weekly reporting and data collection as required.
Balance resource allocation across the different stores responsibilities to support fluctuating demand.
Maintain positive working relationships with managers, peers and team members.
Take a proactive approach to the health and safety of team members when executing stores operations and ensure all risk assessments are kept up to date.
Manage Store budget and forecasting.
