We are seeking a Project Manager who is interested in taking on an International Assignment for High Voltage Axle Drives located in Berlin Germany for 2 to 3 years. Once the assignment is complete, the intention is for this individual to repatriate back to the US in BU HEV.
Core Responsibilities:
- Define project goals (financial, scheduling and quality goals)
- Lead people who perform project management duties involving cross-functional teams focused on delivery of internal products or administrative systems.
- Oversee plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets.
- Monitors the project from initiation through delivery and interfaces with internal customers and department personnel.
- Organizes project activities and interdepartmental meetings
- Ensures communication facilitates completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints.
- May assign and monitor work of technical personnel providing support and interpretation of instructions/objectives.
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 to 10+ years of experience in Automotive project management and/or engineering
- BS Degree in Engineering discipline (or in other related discipline)
- Excellent communication skills.
- Minimum of 3 to 5+ years of experience working on projects
- 7+ years of experience directly interacting with customers
- There is expected to be 25% travel to Silicon Valley, CA
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 to 7+ years of PM experience
- Extensive Manufacturing experience
- Experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes
