We apply this knowledge to a broad range of sectors including motorsport, general automotive, nuclear, aerospace, defence, niche vehicles and off-highway. Key responsibilities of our HR Generalist:
- Conducts competency-based interviews, assessing behaviours and competency levels to select the right candidate for the role
- Actively participates in on-boarding of new staff to ensure their successful integration into the business. Coaches managers on their role in the on-boarding process
- Implements job analyses, job evaluation and grading process to ensure a sensible and equitable job structure within the business group
- Supports line managers by providing expert guidance through individual employee relations issues including grievance, disciplinary & absence management cases
- Develops and implements Employee Relations policies for the UK & Ireland
- Uses knowledge of the UCB tools and processes for talent development to meet the needs of the business
- Supports the management team in the implementation of the annual talent & organisation review to ensure internal talent is actively managed and developed
- Supports organizational transformations (restructuring or reorganization)
- Supports the management team in the implementation of the annual Compensation Review process, ensuring appropriate financial recognition and differentiation, consistent and fair practice, and budget management
Our ideal HR Generalist:
- CIPD qualified to level 5 ideally or working towards
- Previous recruitment experience
- Ability to work off own initiative
- Desire to progress or be a part of the senior leadership team
- A strong communicator verbally and written
- Attention to detail
- Confidence in building relationships
