HISTORIC RACE CAR MECHANIC
This is an exciting opportunity to work in our internationally recognised historic motorsport workshop within the race team. Our brand is built on many years success in historic motorsport and race preparation.
The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in a historic car workshop, restoration or motorsport team. You will have the ability to consistently work to the highest standard with minimal supervision with a strong attention to detail. You should be able to work to tight time frames when necessary and have a full understanding of complete customer satisfaction. You must be highly motivated, organised and able to problem solve.
The role involves race preparation and general maintenance, repair work up to full restoration and rebuild projects of historic race cars including race day support. The role will require domestic and international travel during the season. You will need to have the willingness to work the hours a role of this kind requires and obviously a passion for historic cars.
Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in an historic car workshop, restoration or motorsport team essential. Own tools, willing to work hard. Based in Buntingford. Full-time and permanent position. Salary negotiable depending on experience.
