Duties / Responsibilities (Including Objectives of the role):
This senior management role bridges across all parts of the global Lotus business and is designed to ensure Lotus is compliant to the required international QMS and related standards and also to ensure the quality aspects of new business systems are delivered and maintained to plan. This is key role as part of the Quality management team however this includes the responsibility to create and deliver the systems and the strategy across all areas of the company which will involve regular communication with the Executive team members and the parent companies. A proven team leader and strategic thinking manager from the automotive or related industry who has the knowledge and background experience to lead this broad based quality and business function creating and delivering to plan.
- Ensure Group Lotus adherence and ongoing certification to international Quality and Environmental Standards including but not limited to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
- Lead and deliver the Quality related aspects of the new business systems including but not limited to SAP, MES, Teamcentre, Sharepoint and QMS.
- Maintain, refine and develop the new and current business systems including the BOS strategy and the BOS replacement.
- Provide quality leadership and guidance to the new business systems project teams.
- Manage and develop the team to ensure the business objectives are achieved on time and to budget.
- Manage and lead lean initiatives including meeting the company wide 5S targets and the introduction Value Stream Mapping.
- Ensure that company Quality related processes are harmonised and standardised to assist with compliance and improve efficiency
Qualifications and Experience (Essential & Desirable criteria)
Knowledge
Consider experiences, any formal qualifications genuinely necessary or key areas of knowledge.
Will have previously led and delivered major quality and related system change in the automotive and related industry.
An in depth and proven knowledge of ERP systems and QMS systems preferably in the automotive industry.
A relevant degree level of education is required preferably with a business related qualification. (MBA)

Other information
Travel, shift working, HGV License, etc. Travel will be required on occasions including the willingness to work outside of normal office hours at any Lotus site worldwide.
