Harness Design Engineer

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the design of harnesses for our on-car electrical installation as well as various R&D, Simulator, Wind Tunnel and Garage assemblies. The work will include generation of Schematics and CAD schemes for electrical harnesses, producing both assembly drawings and technical drawings for harness manufacture.

 

Skills and Requirements:

  • A degree or equivalent in Electrical, Automotive or Motorsport engineering
  • A very good knowledge of wiring and components used in Motorsport
  • Be able to demonstrate an innovative, practical approach to problem solving with a high attention to detail.
  • Be highly motivated with the ability to work to a demanding schedule, thriving under pressure and have a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Experience of an industry standard CAD package, Catia preferable.
  • Previous design experience highly desirable.
