Lucas Oil Speedway seeks to hire a Manual Scorer to score oval track races. Must be familiar with circle track scoring procedures and rules.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Sell Pit Passes in Pit Office prior to close of driver registration.
- Accurately – and unbiased – recording all laps during the heats and feature races
- Determining re-start lineups after cautions and communicating this to Flagman, Race Director and/or drivers
- Keep track of the number of strikes for each car that is involved in an incident
- Keep track of cars that enter in pit lanes, and how & when they exit
- Recording the race finishes
- Must have full understanding of the Lucas Oil Speedway Rules and policies
Qualifications:
- Available to work non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays during racing season
- Must have prior experience with circle track scoring.
- Must be able to work with team members
