Guest Services Job Description

Working Hours: Varies, typical 8 hour shifts
Purpose:
Accommodate park patrons by welcoming, first point of contact from a guest, answering general questions, registering guests, and assigning suites, villas, garages to guest.
Primary Job Duties:
- Cross train in all Security requirements
- Greets guest of the park and provide information or resolve issues.
- Perform ticket sales, season ticket sales, gift card sales, camping permits, electrical rental, VIP suite, Villa, and garage rentals, and administer golf cart rental program.
- Collect cash payments from customers and make change or charge purchases to customer’s credit/debit cards and provide customers with receipts using registration/ ticket point of sale computers.
- Answer incoming phone lines to park and provide accurate information.
- Maintain a clean and organized office and work environment
- Accommodate guests correctly for their reservation purchases using RDP
- Provide Housekeeping with an updated chart of guests checking in and out daily
- Accommodate guests correctly for their ticket purchases using E-Tix
- Assist in completion of daily and weekly reports and clerical duties.
- Reconciliation of register, cash and tickets
- Successfully understand Camping, Electric, Suite, Villa, Event Garage, VIP Garage, Gift Card, Personal Paddock Vehicles, Golf Cart, Long-Term Parking, Media, Pool, and POD procedures.
- Monitor and authorize entrance of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft
- Assist with litter and trash patrol and disposal from paddocks, classrooms, common areas
- Knowledgeable of all areas and amenities of the park
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Some knowledge of motorsports, but not required as training is provided
- Some Computer / reception experience a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
- Ability to remain alert at all times in a loud and busy environment condition
- Ability to install barriers and signage of various sizes and material
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
Work Setting:
Fluctuates between:
Indoor working environment with the typical indoor temperature fluctuations, sometimes exposed to outdoor working environments (ticket booths) exposed to all types of weather conditions.
