Role Overview

We are looking for a self-driven, organized Graphic Designer to join our digital team based in Manhattan Beach, CA. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting the digital and social media needs of the Fisker Inc. brand. The ideal candidate has strong conceptual thinking and design skills, can bring unique ideas to the table as well as take direction well from both written and spoken ideas and covert them seamlessly into assets. You will collaborate with Fisker’s marketing, digital product and editorial teams in order to maintain a cohesive style across consumer placing platforms. You have a strong sense of design and are eager to be a part of a fast-growing company while creating engaging, elevated content.

Responsibilities 

  • Concept and design assets for usage across all platforms, particularly digital and social media.
  • Ensure brand consistency is applied with design work.
  • Actively participate in campaign brainstorms.
  • Maintain and manage an asset library on an ongoing basics, as well as inventory of where these assets live and how they will be used.
  • Manage in-house retouching- includes editing, cropping and processing high quality standard images.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends, emerging designs, and contemporary tools to develop bold new concepts.

Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent experience 
  • 2-3+ years working experience in Graphic Design 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), any proficiency in AfterEffects or PremierPro a plus. 
  • Portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of typography and graphic design for brands.  
  • Organized and flexible, able to balance requests and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative team player able to work independently and within a team.
  • A passion for all aspects of design including conceptual thinking, typography, motion, copy, and imagery.
  • Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality.
  • Exercises good communication skills with the ability to discuss complex concepts in easy-to-understand terms.
