An opportunity has arisen to join our Engineering team as a Graduate Applications Engineer.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support track events at the request of the Technical Manager.
- Support customers to get the most from their Cosworth Electronics system at the track and in the office
- Own projects and race series and manage the customer requirements within each series
- Specify, design, test and install complete chassis side electronic solutions.
- Report any Software/Hardware issues back to engineering via the event reporting system and to the Technical Manager through weekly meetings.
- Provide technical documentation at the request of the Customer/Technical Manager to assist the customer experiences with Cosworth products.
- Produce Technical training videos for use with customer and the Support Forum.
- Answer requests for assistance from teams either through email or Support Forum.
- Report any commercial opportunities to the Sales Team.
- Assist in the development of Software and Hardware, through Software testing and track experience.
Skills & Attributes
Essential:
- Honours degree. Preferably in automotive specific discipline such as mechanical engineering or electronic engineering.
- Self-Motivated
- Works well under pressure
- Good at problem solving
- Full driving license and a passport for international travel.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a customer facing role.
