We are looking for an application engineer with a background in mechanical engineering and preferably experience in application engineering, however you could be a talented graduate keen to learn in your first role. You are highly motivated to be trained and learn new skills, allowing you to work closely with mechanical and software engineers in a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team. As an Application Engineer, you will be the go-to technical resource for our field sales team. You are responsible for analysing prospects’ business and technical requirements, developing solutions that meet those needs.
In this role you will:
- Provide business, technical, and product knowledge in support of pre-sales activities in order to ensure customer satisfaction
- Perform detailed technical analysis of customer applications,
- Manage software evaluation phase at customers.
- Deliver advanced training courses (both internal and external).
- Demonstrate products to customers and explain how these meet customers’ needs.
- Manage product features and development requests with Product Managers to customize products for large sales or for individual customers.
- Assist in strengthening customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction, whilst providing top-quality technical service.
