  • Work proactively and constructively within the Development Team to develop and maintain improved methods of working to maximise the Team’s performance

Primary Responsibilities

  • To have a full and clear understanding of the aerodynamic development strategy as defined by the Principal Aerodynamicist and to implement this to the best of their abilities
  • To regularly feedback to the Principal and Lead Aerodynamicist progress on aerodynamic development and to highlight potential barriers, threats, opportunities or weaknesses that may influence the current aerodynamic strategy.
  • To work closely with the Principal Aerodynamicist and Lead Aerodynamicist to proactively contribute to deliver and enhance the current aerodynamic philosophy, development strategy and approach.
  • To actively contribute to and work to improve our pursuit of ‘best in class’ approach to positive culture; experimental, numerical and analyses techniques; software and processes. Of particular relevance being WT repeatability.
  • Plan and deliver projects using AMF1’s development tools, CAD, CFD and the WT, reporting these findings to the Senior members of the Aerodynamics Team
