The circuit originated from a WWII B-17 combat crew training base known as Hendricks Field. Nestled among the orange groves and cattle ranches of Central Florida, Sebring International Raceway has hosted the legendary 12-hour endurance classic since 1952, now part of the prestigious IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Sebring was the site of the first ever FIA World Championship Sports Car Race in 1953, and in 2012 hosted the inaugural race of the FIA WEC. Sebring is also known as one of the most versatile testing facilities in the motorsports industry. Job Description
Sebring International Raceway seeks part time event worker positions of Gate Guard.
Gate Guards are responsible for opening the facility gates, signing people into the track and closing and securing the facility at night.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Open and close gates of the facility.
- Greet all people entering the facility.
- Requesting all visitors sign waivers.
- Responsible for keeping people out of unauthorized areas.
- Communicate with Race Control to determine track activity and when track is in operation.
Required skills/experience:
- High school diploma and related experience.
- Ability to work independently in a faced paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends and work in all types of weather.
