Garage Technician

In this role you will ensure the assembly, maintenance, reliability and safe transportation of our pit equipment and garage equipment. Furthermore you will be responsible for the tyres of the race cars and for the garage building and set up.

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

Working with the Garage Technicians group achieving the day to day workload as prescribed by the Chief Garage Technician and Chief Mechanic;. Attending all races and tests events;. Travelling with the first group to assist with build of the garage and set up;. Working directly with the Race Engineering group for tyre management;. Total responsibility for the tyres of the race cars. Responsible for monitoring the lifing of the wheel rims. Responsible for the fitting of the tyre Pressure Monitoring System . Working directly with our tyres supplier for the mounting and stripping of tyres. Monitoring and maintaining the tyre blankets and control boxes. Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of the projects. Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

  • Extensive Automotive experience
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Deliver timely information and reporting (delivering to deadlines set on the job list and keeping on top of communication).
  • Initiative and Innovation
  • Ability to work with the team, external suppliers and colleagues.
  • Availability to travel extensively (approximately at least 190 days per year)
  • Holding of D driving licences would be beneficial
