Your Responsibilities
- Develop innovative safety strategies and functions for electric drive systems using state-of-the-art safety standards using modern simulation tools
- Agree on the specifications with the customers, develop realization concepts and are responsible for the modeling, integration and definition of the functions
- Carry out tests at the measuring station and in the vehicle
- Develop safety functions up to series production maturity and take over the series support of these functions
Your Profile
- Successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or physics
- Professional and industry experience (including graduates with relevant internships or theses)
- Experience in the field of control engineering and model-based development with Matlab / Simulink and automatic code generation
- Good knowledge of the structure and function of electrical power controllers and their diagnoses
- Basic knowledge of the safety standards ISO 61508, ISO 26262 and initial experience in the development of safety-relevant functions in embedded systems are advantageous
- High level of communication and team skills as well as high analytical and conceptual skills
- Good knowledge of English and willingness to travel
