Role Overview
Fisker is searching for a Full Stack Developer to contribute to deliverables of the Digital Product Engineering team. You will operate across the software lifecycle, from planning and architecture to development, testing and deployment. You will be responsible for developing/maintaining industry-leading consumer web applications and APIs/Microservices that will enhance marketing initiatives, reservation/purchase/lease processes, and account/vehicle management.
Responsibilities
- Developing, testing, and debugging new software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity
- Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
- Develop web applications, UI components and libraries
- Develop APIs and microservices
- Collaborate effectively and closely with UX Designers, Front End and Back End Developers, Product Managers, and QA team to refine and improve the user experience
What we are looking for
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in software development
- Familiarity with React
- Proficiency with any server-side languages: TypeScript, Go, Python, Java
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, databases, and caching
- Experience with event-driven microservices and cloud architecture
- Experience with common development tools such as Babel, Webpack, and yarn
- Experience with testing frameworks
- Ability to perform benchmarking and optimization
- Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
