We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team.
The role:
You will be responsible for managing the successful definition, execution and delivery of multiple projects relating to freight and logistics. The successful candidate will be required to apply project and programme management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to assigned projects/ programmes ensuring delivery is within scope, budget, and timelines. You will also be expected to manage third party suppliers who are delivering key aspects of a number of projects.
Please note that this is not a technology project and therefore, IT project managers will be discounted from selection.
The candidate requirements:
To be successful in your application you will have to demonstrate at least 5 years of dedicated project management experience.

•A degree qualification with five years plus related experience
•Formal qualification of project methods e.g. PRINCE2.
•Proficient in the use of MS Office and MS Project is essential. Ideally have used Clarizen project management tool
•A proven track record as a competent and experienced practitioner in project delivery methods, approaches, tools, and techniques.
•Experience of managing project financials – budget, forecasts, actuals and earned value
◦Ability to lead key stages of a project – planning, analysis, design, build, and implement.
◦Experience of managing 3rd party suppliers.
•Some travel may be required.

•The ability to liaise with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and translate these into effective and agreed projects.
•The ability to liaise with and manage third party product suppliers
•The management of all elements of risk
•Being able to quickly inform key stakeholders of timeline changes and the provide solutions
•Having strong commercial awareness with the ability to make sound economic decisions that maximise project value
•Having excellent influencing and collaboration skills
•The ability to run any change management requirements
