Race Winning Brands has an immediate opening for a Forging Utility Operator to work as a member of the forging team to process forgings through various operations for completion of finished forgings and improve efficiency and promote a clean, safe, working environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Program a lathe for roughing operation
- Load and unload automated blast units
- Operate a band saw and snippers to fettle product
- Operate a lathe and mill when needed
- General daily housecleaning
- Load forgings into heat treat ovens
- Load and unload product into crates or baskets for outsource heat treating and shipping
- Operate the laser machine when needed
- Transport product in wire baskets with the use of a pallet jack
- Use hand die grinders and sanders to bench product
- Work with the team to meet customer expectations on quality and delivery
- Responsible for keeping accurate documentation
- Stand for long periods of time
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 3 months experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Lean and World Class Manufacturing Practices preferred.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds – long periods of standing.
- Follows all safety procedures.
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English.
- Must be able to work 2nd shift (2pm-10pm)
