We are looking for you to join our European Finance team as a Financial Controller at our European Head Office in Gravesend.

Your opportunity:

You will be to managing Spain, Portugal and the UK’s local and group financial accounting, reporting to our global head office in Brazil.

This will include:

  • Month end close and balance sheet account management for Spain and Portugal.
  • Group financial reporting and local accounts preparation
  • Providing accounting and tax advice, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets, Opex and Capex management, including forecasts
  • Responsibility for direct and Indirect tax compliance
  • Managing third party accounting and tax compliance providers
  • Managing external auditors, jointly plan and execute audit programmes, including the design, implementation and adherence to SOX controls

Skills required:

  • A University Degree
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Ideally Spanish or Portuguese language skills
  • Good relationship building skills as you will be managing our 3rd parties in Portugal and Spain
  • Knowledge of SOX controls
  • Knowledge of Tax Compliance

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5.30.
