The position:
We are seeking an engineering graduate to join our facilities team as a Facilities Engineer to assist in delivering our ambitious sustainability and continuous improvement strategy. This will require working with our facilities management team and wider operational departments to update processes, implement improved methods and introduce technologies into the Williams campus, whilst ensuring the site can deliver the uptime required for a demanding Formula One Programme.
The role:
As a Facilities Engineer you will:
•Update current CAD drawings of the site. This will incorporate buildings, offices and all services (power, mains water, drains, etc)
•Investigate and implement TPM & PPM procedures to improve the efficiency of plant and machinery
•Be responsible for supporting the development of and leading the implementation of, the sustainability strategy, reducing energy usage and waste in all forms across the site. The applicant should have a passion for sustainability and the use of technology to reduce energy consumption.
•Investigate, propose and deploy the latest technology available for the early detection of machine and plant issues.
•Digitise service records and compliance certificates
•Prepare reports and compliance documentation
•Assist in the execution of facility projects, updating drawings and documentation packs for contractors to ensure quality and compliance of works completed
Qualifications:
Engineering Degree qualified (or equivalent), relevant experience within facilities or sustainability preferred but not required.
You must be proficient on CAD (namely AutoCAD 2D).
Microsoft D365 would be advantageous.
