We are looking for suitably qualified fabricators to assist with the conversion of bespoke production & race vehicles and manufacture of production & race parts.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Ensure accurate fabrication of all components to engineering drawings
- Ensure timescales are met for fabrication aspect of the conversion process
- Ensuring the highest quality on showroom level vehicles
- Maintain a clean and orderly workplace
- Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time
- Compliance with all departmental H&S requirements
- Compliance, where appropriate with management, & environmental, systems, such as ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
Personal Specification
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in production & race vehicle fabrication and repair
- Experienced in MIG & TIG welding
- Experience in bench welding environment using Jigs & fixtures
- Experience in welding the following materials - Aluminium, 4130/T45/15CDV6 steel and Stainless steel
- Experience in argon tank welding an advantage (not essential)
- Must be capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings, as well as working freehand as required
- Experience in estimating welding process times
- Knowledge of brake press, punches, hand tools and sheet metal work an advantage

Summary Terms & Conditions
Pension - Upon joining the Company, you will be automatically enrolled, with contributions starting after successful completion of the probationary period. On completion of one years’ service, and subject to the rules, you will be invited to participate in the main JRM pension scheme.
Leave entitlement - 25 days per year plus statutory holidays (compulsory shutdown of three days at Christmas).
Notice period - There will be an initial three-month probationary period, during which notice will be one week on either side. On successful completion of the probationary period notice will be one month.
Working hours - 08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday.
