What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for the engineering, design, development, timing and production release of lighting (exterior) components.
- Quality improvements,
- Regulatory compliance specifications
- Weight reduction
- Cost reduction
- Efficiency improvement initiatives including communicating technical product
- Coordinates test and/or development programs
- Coordinates engineering projects with other departments and/or divisions
- Coordinates with suppliers and/or customers on a regular basis
- Stays abreast of new technology
