Hankook Tire Europe Technical Center (ETC) based in Hanover, Germany is one of Hankook Tire’s five global R&D centers (along with Korea, United States, Japan, China) and is responsible for the development and testing of tire solutions for European road conditions - working together with premium European vehicle manufacturers. Indoor test operations and quality control for European tire production in Hungary are also controlled by ETC.

- Representative in the subordinated committees of ETRTO
- Member of the common ETRTO coordination committee
- Observing the (tire related) activities of
- The technical working groups of ETRTO
- All task force teams of ETRTO, UN/ECE, and ISO
- Reporting the status of running activities to Central R&D
- Close collaboration with various departments (product and process engineering, test, sales, marketing, production, etc.)
- Cooperation with our R&D Center in South Korea
