Event Sales Executive

We are seeking an experienced Event Sales Executive to join our team to implement our event sales strategy and sell space and sponsorship across various lifestyle sectors. You will work hard and achieve amazing things within the loose framework of our ROWE workplace at our Oxfordshire headquarters. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will be own your own sales management process and achieve sales KPIs as set by the Sales Director.

Amongst your many tasks, you will be required to do the following:

  • Execute a sales strategy that will ensure exhibition sales budgets are met
  • Pro-actively generate new sales leads and identify potential new business
  • Convert sales leads into revenue generating clients
  • Be solutions-oriented and provide exceptional customer service
  • Follow up sales inquiries by phone, email and meetings
  • Draw up exhibitor and sponsor contracts and follow up payments
  • Assist the Sales Director with the arrangement of appointments, drafting of proposals and other sales-oriented tasks as directed

To be successful in this role you will need some tools and experience:

  • Preferably 2 – 3 years of experience in sales in the events / exhibition industry;
  • Strong aptitude and experience in telephone and face-to-face sales;
  • Be passionate, driven, enthusiastic and results-driven;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of office tools including MS Office. Knowledge of Ungerboeck CRM software would also be a distinct advantage;
  • Understanding of floorplan management;
  • A positive, can do attitude and the patience and understanding required when working out the bugs in a start up;
  • Be a team player with the ability to work autonomously

Remuneration

£23,000 – £25,000 + bonus + commission (depending on experience)
