Event Operations Staff (Seasonal Part-Time)

The Event Operations Staff assist the Event Operations Department on necessary tasks to prepare for the various concerts, races, major events, banquets and track events held at Circuit of The Americas. The position will help with assigned tasks in and around the facility to prepare all areas to be show ready for our customers, clients and staff. The position is a great start to provide experience for individuals serious about peering into a career in event, concert, and racing operations. The Event Operations Staff schedule is primarily driven by the concert and racing event schedule and remains flexible. Please note that this position is limited to 29 hours per week. However, regular and consistent commitment to events throughout the season is expected. Season usually runs from March to November.

Essential Functions:
• Complete tasks as assigned by the Facility Superintendent and Operations Lead. 
• Set up various types of equipment for concerts, races, and activations as well as other events to prepare venue for the public. Including but not limited to dressing room prep, tents, bike rack, tables, chairs, other furniture and signage setup. 
• Help with overall maintenance and upkeep of equipment and storage areas.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have reliable transportation 
• Must be able to multi-task and follow strict timelines
• Comfortable being active for extended periods of time

Desired Qualifications:
• Valid Texas Driver License or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire
• Ability to operate or train to operate heavy equipment such as fork lifts, boom lifts or scissor lifts

Physical Demands:
• Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms
• Ability to lift and or move up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities require by this job include close vision and distant vision

Work Environment:
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate however, during events, the noise level may be loud.
