Role

The European Marketing Manager will sit within the European management team in Munich, and work with the Fisker Marketing team at the Headquarter in Los Angeles to shape, grow, and cultivate the Fisker marketing strategy for Europe. Also responsible for go to Market Strategies and internal consulting projects covering governmental affaires, charging infrastructure and e-mobility projects like the subscription model.

Over time, you will recruit and manage the European Marketing team to cover all aspects of product marketing, CRM, event management, advertisement.

This person will report directly into the VP Sales & Service Europe.

Location: Munich, Germany

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all marketing activities including product marketing and social media
  • Evaluating and developing the Fisker European marketing strategy and marketing plan.
  • Act as internal consultant for all areas for go-to-market strategies and e-mobility projects: charging infrastructure, governmental affaires, subscription model.
  • Planning, directing, and coordinating marketing efforts.
  • Communicating the marketing plan.
  • Market intelligence for our products and services.
  • Working with sales department to develop pricing strategies to maximize profits and market share while balancing customer satisfaction.
  • Developing promotions to increase demand
  • Understanding and developing budgets and finance
  • Developing and managing advertising campaigns.
  • Building brand awareness and positioning.
  • Supporting sales and lead generation efforts.
  • Coordinating marketing projects from start to finish.
  • Organizing company conferences, trade shows, and major events.
  • Responsible for Customer Relationship Management
  • Responsible for motor shows and all other events, online and offline

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field. A Master degree is a plus.
  • 5 years + experience in automotive Marketing working for an international car brand or an automotive consulting firm
  • Experience in marketing and running a small marketing team/marketing projects.
  • Proven marketing campaign experience.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets.
  • Professional and proactive work ethic.
  • High competence in project and stakeholder management.
  • Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing.
  • Experience in Product Management
  • Experience in Event Management
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
