Description
Responsibilities will include manufacture and modify parts for Honda's high-performance racing program. The appropriate candidate will set up and operate mills, lathes, and CNC machines to accomplish the Job Orders and goals of the department.
Qualifications
Must have a High School diploma with a minimum of 1 to 3 years machining experience using manual lathes, manual mills, and CNC milling machines. Familiarity and experience with close tolerance machining. Knowledge of machine setup procedures. Experience using precise measuring tools. Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulics, welding, and electrical conductivity. Experience in operating all standard machine tool. Experience using surface grinder and have the ability to read blueprints and drawings and understands applicable GD&T.
Must have excellent communication skills; ability to work in team environment and able to work under minimal supervision; ability to be self-directed, detailed oriented who can effectively work well under pressure in a diverse environment.
