JOB DESCRIPTION
As a member of our Engineering team, you will play an integral role in evaluating the operational and aesthetic quality of automotive engine management products.
Responsibilities will include:
• Evaluating products for operational and aesthetic acceptability
• documenting test results and commentary
• recommending corrections or improvements to vendors
• researching part operation, specifications and environments
• updating/maintaining files and records in multiple systems to concisely reflect outcomes of evaluations
• interacting with buyers, vendors and internal departments
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Requirements / Experience
To qualify, you must have a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Technology or AAS Degree in Automotive, Marine, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Equivalent product evaluation, diagnostic or repair experience considered. Solid technical documentation, oral and written communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to work on multiple projects are essential, as is a basic knowledge of PC’s (Word/Excel). Prior experience in an automotive, electro-mechanical, industrial, marine, or other testing, diagnostic or repair environment preferred.
