Engineer II

Description

Aerodynamics CFD Engineer II will be responsible for performing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) assessment of high performance racing vehicles and sub-systems using virtual analysis tools to reduce wind tunnel, track testing and therefore overall performance development costs.

Qualifications

Requirements include: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mathematics or equivalent years of experience. 3-5 years of experience with commercial CFD codes, demonstrated experience and excellence in sub-system analysis using CFD. Knowledge in advanced fluid dynamics concepts and problems. 3 years of experience with CONVERGE and Siemens Star-CCM+ CFD codes.

Experience in Linux Cloud Computing HPC environment. Proficient software programmer (MATLAB, Java and Python) Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to identify and resolve routine problems. Strong PC and software knowledge including MS Office. Proven ability to communicate information effectively both verbally and in written form to a wide variety of audiences. Previous experience working in a fast paced, time critical and sensitive environment. Ability instills teamwork and be effective across international, cultural and linguistic boundaries.
