Engineer - Chassis Controls/Integration

As an Engineer on the Chassis team, you’ll be working with some of the industry’s brightest minds to create, refine, and launch world class chassis control systems on world class vehicles for the modern age. Basically, you’ll be a part of the team that ensures Faraday’s cars handle and perform as well as they look.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • BSME / BSEE or related study.
  • 1+ years of experience in engineering and integration
  • Comfortable with defining requirements for vehicle features
  • Project management experience: creating timelines and budgets, working with various engineering teams and coordinating projects with external resources
  • Familiarity with CAN communication/architecture, DBC files, data analysis
  • Proven knowledge and passion for automotive design

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of stability control, active suspension, power steering and other chassis systems
  • Experience with CANalyzer, CANape, Vector tools, CANdb++ is a plus
  • Understanding of vehicle wiring harness and troubleshooting strategies
  • Hands on experience with Formula SAE / BAJA SAE
  • A creative curiosity, collaborative work ethic, professional enthusiasm, and a driven personality
  • A penchant for multi-tasking and self-starting
  • A genuine fascination for the EV field and a commitment to global change
