Duties / Responsibilities (Including Objectives of the role):
With both lab and vehicle based test activities, you will will support attribute engineers during the critical design and product definition stages with competitor data and objective measurements. You will gain significant whole vehicle experience and will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally across the business learning new skills to further their development. As a new role within the benchmarking department, you will be able to define the role and work with key people within the business. Future expansions within the attribute and benchmarking team will allow you to progress and develop within the business.
- Complete detailed ergonomic and usability assessments on all competitor vehicles
- Support attributes with objective measurements for benchmarking and target setting
- Support senior management and image drive activities.
- Hold customer clinic events around attributes
- Lead teardown activities and workshops when required
- Maintenance of the attribute and benchmarking SharePoint
- Conduct 3D scanning activities and CAD analysis on all competitor vehicles.
- Support daily running of the Attribute Demonstration Vehicles ensuring all SW/HW is to the latest intent.
- Input into vehicle statement of intent for all lotus products.
Qualifications and Experience (Essential & Desirable criteria)
Essential:
- Relevant qualifications in Automotive engineering (HNC/HND as a minimum)
