With a record of success that is rarely matched in modern motorsports, Roush Yates Engines is currently seeking an Engine Tear Down Specialist.

Purpose of Job:

Disassemble, inspect and evaluate used engines and clean, inspect and analyze the condition of engine components and parts to assist in determining suitability for future use.

Responsibilities:

  • Check-in engine upon return to RYE.
  • Post-race disassembly of used racing engines.
  • Clean and inspect engine components and parts.
  • Analyze and evaluate condition of component parts to assess suitability for future use.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Prefer prior engine teardown experience/education.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.

Position Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing.
  • Bending, stooping required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
