With a record of success that is rarely matched in modern motorsports, Roush Yates Engines is currently seeking an Engine Tear Down Specialist.
Purpose of Job: Disassemble, inspect and evaluate used engines and clean, inspect and analyze the condition of engine components and parts to assist in determining suitability for future use.
Responsibilities
- Check-in engine upon return to RYE.
- Post-race disassembly of used racing engines.
- Clean and inspect engine components and parts.
- Analyze and evaluate condition of component parts to assess suitability for future use.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Prefer prior engine teardown experience/education.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
Position Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing.
- Bending, stooping required.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
