Responsibilities include software development and strategies, analyzing, verifying and implementing new algorithms (codes) utilizing dSPACE & Matlab. Create embedded code for both low level C-code and high level Simulink models. Troubleshooting defects found in the operation of the algorithms by modifying the specifications and or generating the next revision of code. Validate code to release and use in the relevant target hardware utilizing MiL and SiL as part of the ongoing model based development of the software process where determined and dSPACE for HiL integration test.
Qualifications
BS Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent software development experience required. 5 years’ experience with software and system design and validation; control algorithm implementation and application; and MatLab/Simulink modelling for software development and code generation. Must be proficient with C++, Visual Basic, C# or other PC based software and CAN, FlexRay, LIN vehicle communications systems. Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form. Strong analytical skills. Strong planning and organizational skills. Strong Interpersonal skills. Project management skills. Must have the ability to work under minimal supervision in a team environment and be self-directed, detailed oriented who can effectively work well under pressure in a diverse environment.
