Electronics Systems Engineer

To help deliver against this global vision we are seeking an Electronics Systems Engineerto join the Formula 1 Electronics department.

This role will report into the Electronics Development Manager and will be responsible for producing a wide range of bespoke solutions to support the timing, televising and organisation of Formula 1 events.

This is a varied and rewarding role where proactivity and initiative are always required.  Based at our Media and Technology Centre in Biggin Hill, be part of the exhilarating environment of F1. 

The role:

The role focusses on progressing designs through the complete lifecycle, from requirements capture through to deployment and support.

You will need to be able to architect systems, lead technical teams, understand project management principles, interface with internal and external stakeholders, and be able to support and, where necessary, debug systems out in the field.

You have:

  • Strong background in the engineering domain, with experience in systems development and support, especially full lifecycle

  • Engineering design of products with electronic elements and components

  • Educated to degree level in an engineering discipline

  • Good planning skills, including the ability to prioritise and multi-task effectively

  • Proficiency in documentation creation for internal and external use
