We have a new opportunity to be part of the Electronics team in the role of Electrical Technician.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be involved in the prototyping, production and servicing/repair of race harnesses, electrical assemblies, sensors and electronic units.
  • The successful candidate is likely to have a number of years’ experience in the manufacture of wiring harnesses, electrical assemblies and the associated test/support equipment in a motorsport environment.
  • You will have the opportunity to contribute to the design of the electrical installations and the development of the production processes/documentation used to manufacture parts. Some car build and track support experience would be an advantage
  • The candidate will need to be able to demonstrate their ability to follow the defined processes to manufacture parts to the required quality level within tight deadlines, be able to respond quickly to new requirements in a dynamic environment and work well as part of a team.

 

The successful candidate must have the following attributes

  • Minimum of 5 years wiring harness protoyping/manufacture
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a motorsport environment
  • Experience of set up and use of harness tester, preferably Cirris
  • Experience of assembly/rework of electrical components such as test equipment, rigs, panels, motors, etc
  • Experience of circuit board assembly with surface mount components would be an advantage
  • Experience of service/calibration of sensors, actuators, etc
  • Have a good working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, drawing, PC software packages, etc
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • To have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a changing environment
  • Posses commitment and proven reliability
  • Be enthusiastic and versatile
  • Ability to build good working relationships with colleagues
  • Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of, and commitment to, Health & Safety

 

The standard hours are 8.30-5.30
